Brush 10 was purchased in 2010 and shortly thereafter it was equipped with a skid unit in the bed of the pickup built by Kimtek Corporation. It carries 160 gallons of water and 5 gallons of class A foam. It has four wheel drive capabilities for fighting fires in remote areas. It carries a full compliment of forestry firefighting hand tools as well as 1 1/2″ forestry hose, portable pumps, and a chain saw. It is a very versatile vehicle and also has a snow plow for plowing the fire apparatus apron in the winter time.
