Tonight four York Village Firefighters participated in the Fire Lieutenant’s promotional process step 1: the written test. Members took a 100 question multiple choice test with the questions coming from multiple text books relevant to the job of a fire lieutenant. The next step will be an oral exam board with fire officers and/or fire chiefs from out of town. After that is an interview with the fire chief before a selection is made.
