York Village, York Beach and Kittery Point Fire Departments were dispatched to a report of a structure fire at 59 Braveboat Harbor Rd. responding companies were advised that it was an electrical fire in the basement. York C-2 (Asst. Chief Marshall) was first on scene and established command. He advised that he had an extinguished electrical fire in the basement with a smoke condition in the house. Upon
further investigation it was found that there was some sort of malfunction which caused the fuse box to catch fire, occupants reported two small explosions, there was no extension found, Squad 2 was held for ventilation and all the other companies were returned.
