The York Fire Department hosted our 95th Annual Fireman’s Field Day and Muster on Saturday, August 20th. Fire Departments from around the area participated in the parade and muster The parade started at 12:00 noon from Woodbridge Rd. at Rt. 1A. The muster took place after the parade in Moulton Park in York Harbor on Rt. 1A.
This years event was a rousing success thanks to the members of York Village Fire who put in countless hours preparing the station and apparatus for the occasion. We wish to thank all of the participating fire departments who took the time to travel to York for the parade and the six teams who helped us keep the traditional Firemen’s muster alive!!!! We are extremely proud to host such a popular event and have no plans to abandon the tradition!!!
After the muster, members and guests met at Foster’s Clam Bake for the annual Firemans Ball that included a dinner and awards.
Thank You to Shawn St. Hilaire and Brian Starkey for the use of their pictures.
