The York Village Fire Department is hiring a full-time firefighter. As part of the process candidates were required to take and pass a physical agility test put on by the department which is consistent with what other local departments have used in the past. This morning on a cold, foggy, and damp morning 8 candidates turned out for the examination. The next step in the process is an oral board examination, candidates who are advancing in the process will be notified shortly by the Town of York Human Resources department when and where to be present for the oral boards.
