Firemen’s musters are a dying tradition. The two fire departments in York are doing a bang up job of keeping them alive, however!! This year, Engine 4, Engine 6, and Truck 8, along with C-1 and C-2 ventured four miles to the north to the York Beach district for their field day. Companies made plenty of noise during the parade before returning to the York Beach ball field for the muster events. York Village crews were mostly shut out of taking home trophies other than FF Dave Lorandeau placing in the Ladder event. But that didn’t stop us from having a great time and enjoying some camaraderie!! Congratulations to North Berwick for cleaning house!!! See you next year!!
Special Thank You to our good friend Shawn St.Hilaire for always allowing us the use of his spectacular photographs!!!
