A 1st Alarm working fire was struck by Chief Balentine for a 2 1/2 story home on Long Sands Rd. with a fire in the basement. Companies arived on scene with smoke showing.
A 5 inch feeder was dropped by Engine 4 and a 4 inch was hand laid by Engine 6 to Squad 1. Companies made a good stop. The home was one of the oldest homes in the Town of York.
