Captains John Hunt and Paul Balentine traveled to Appleton, Wisconsin to the Pierce factory for an inspection on the new Squad 2. John and Paul finalized the specifications on our new Pierce PUC Rescue Pumper. Many items were added or changed to maximize efficiency.

Firefighter Charles “Chuckie”  Balentine recieved  his 55 years of service pin at the annual York Firefighter’s ball. The Members drove the 3 American La France Fire Apparatus out for a final photo shoot.  The two oldest trucks will soon be taken out of service.  They are being replaced by a new Pierce Velocity 75′ Quint fire apparatus purchased with Federal Grant money.
