While crews were cleaning up from a chimney fire on Seabury Rd. York Dispatch toned out a report of a structure fire on Triple Oaks Drive in the York Beach district. Crews were already on the road but had a lengthy travel to the opposite end of town to get to the fire. First arriving fire companies found a single story ranch with heavy fire showing from one end of it. Crews from York Village, York Beach, Ogunquit, and Kittery Point worked for several hours to contain the fire. The family’s two dogs were the only occupants home at the time of the fire. Firefighters were able to rescue one from the home and worked to revive it but to no avail. There were no civilian or firefighter injuries and the cause is under investigation.
