While companies from York Village were training at the York Middle School, we were dispatched to Southside Road for an outside fire. Apparatus made
good time due to the fact that Sewalls bridge can now be traversed by fire apparatus, it was formerly a 12 ton weight limit. Crews found a 20×40 outside fire in a pile of leaves. Engine 4 was first due and stretched a crosslay on it. Crews put approximately 2000 gallons of water on the fire to knock it down and overhaul it.
