Early Monday morning York Village Fire and York Beach Fire were dispatched to Stage Neck Inn for a report of a fire in the boiler room. Squad 2 arrived
on scene with light smoke showing. Upon further investigation, it was determined there was a dumpster fire next to the building. All companies continued to the scene, the fire was quickly knocked down, the dumpster was moved away from the building and Deputy Chief Apgar investigated the cause.
Squad 2, Engine 4 and Engine 1 responded to the scene.
