York Village Companies were dispatched mutual aid to Wells, Me for a well
involved tractor trailer unit which was loaded with wooden pallets, Squad 2, Engine 4 and Truck 8 were requested by the Incident Commander. Truck 8’s ladder pipe was utilized to knock down the fire from above, while on the ground Members put the K-12 saw to work in order to gain access to the stubborn fire through the side of the trailer. Other departments on scene included an Engine Co. from Kennebunk Fire, 2 Engines from Wells Fire, and two Engines from Oqunquit Fire.
