Village and Beach companies were dispatched to a report of a fire at the Econo-Lodge on Route 1 (Village District) on arrival companies found a smoke condition in the lobby. Upon further investigation interior crews found a Pepsi machine had experienced an internal electrical fire. The fire was quickly put under control, machine was removed from the building by firefighters and the hotel was ventilated.
