York Village and York Beach Fire departments were dispatched to a report of a structure fire at the Cottage Place Professional Park. Patrons at a nearby bar placed multiple 9-1-1 calls to York Dispatch reporting smoke showing from the second floor. Squad 1 responded direct from a medical call. Engine 6, the second due engine was on the air within 3 minutes. C-1 arrived and established command reporting a 2 story office building with smoke showing. 2 lines were stretched from Squad 1. Truck 1 arrived shortly thereafter and positioned itself to make use of it’s articulating boom. Upon Engine 6’s arrival, A reverse lay to a nearby hydrant was accomplished.
