This year is our 101st annual Firemen’s field day. After a hiatus from our standard itinerary last year, we are BACK!! We couldn’t be happier to get back to our usual schedule of events. This year we have the 1946 Chevy pumper back on the road for the parade for the first time in well over 10 years and the pride of the fleet; the brand new 2017 Pierce Velocity pumper-tanker which has barely been in town for 3 weeks (and been to its first fire already!!)
The day was wonderful with the sun making its appearance just as the parade was ending, it was a welcome sight after a very wet Friday. It was absolutely wonderful to catch up with all of our friends that we see once a year, they’re too numerous to mention; though they all know who they are. Thank You to everybody who turned out to make our event a success!!! We are counting the days until next year 8-18-18!!!!!! Mark your calendars!!!!
