2nd.Alarm House Fire – 3 Bittersweet Lane (Village District)-2 story wdfr 20’x30′ house fully involved-Fire melted siding on adjacent home, single occupant escaped through a broken window.
Firefighters from the Village and Beach stations made a quick exterior attack with four 1 3/4″ and two 2 1/2″ handlines before performing an interior attack through the front door and second story windows. Kittery, Kittery Point & Portsmouth Naval Shipyard who reponded mutual aid to the fire, with Ogunquit, Eliot engines & Portsmouth Naval Shipyard ladder covering the village station.
