We were busy this morning with multiple accidents on I-95 on the York River Bridge. The temperatures were just at the freezing mark, with a light drizzle, making the roads very dangerous. Squad 2 and Ambulance 3 responded to I-95 Southbound on the York River Bridge for a motor vehicle accident with two patient sign offs. Squad 2 remained on scene for a while providing scene protection. Engine 4, Ambulance 1 and Ambulance 2 along with C-1 responded to I-95 Northbound on the York River Bridge, just after Squad 2 arrived on scene at their accident, for a motor vehicle accident involving three vehicles. There were two injuries and the Northbound traffic flow was closed for a short period of time until Maine Turnpike Authority could treat the bridge with salt.
