York Village Fire and York Beach Fire were dispatched to a residence on Woodside Meadow Rd. for a report of smoke in the basement. Squad 2 arrived on scene with nothing showing. Upon further investigation, companies found a smoke condition on the first floor and in the basement. A single hand line was stretched from Squad 2. It was determined to be an issue with a pellet stove in the basement. Companies removed the smoke with positive pressure ventilation and were cleared within an hour and a half.
