York Village members conducted their Thursday night Training at the old Ice House on Long Sands Rd. in York Village. This week’s topic was Advancing Hoselines. Officers and seasoned firefighters instructed newer members the basics on advancing a hose line into a basement, over a ground ladder into a second floor window, and over an aerial ladder into a second floor window. As that was going on, Firefighters Zach Apgar and Josh Allen did some driver training with Tank 4 and Engine 6.
