Members of the York Fire Department along with members of the York Police Department participated in the “Polar Plunge” a fundraiser for the Chris Connors Foundation. The CCF is a non profit group raising money for children’s water and boating safety. The foundation was a dream of the late Chris Connors who helped to found the York Fire Department’s Water Rescue team. Chris was passionate about water and boating safety, the York Fire Department is in partnership with the CCF. The weather was chilly but nobody seemed to mind too much.
