York Village companies, including Engine 6, Truck8, Squad 2, Truck 12 along with South Berwick, and Berwick companies staged on the I-95 overpasses to honor recently deceased Wells fire Chief Wayne Vetre as his body is escorted north from Mass General. He passed away from a long battle with cancer. Truck 12 joined the northbound procession and went all the way to Wells in a show of support for the Wells Fire Department.
