The York Village Fire Department hosted one of the two regional firefighter I and II programs on Saturday. The students in this program were learning about Fire Hose, Nozzles, Fire Streams, and Firefighting Foams. There are 16 students in the class including 2 from York Village and 1 from York Beach. Students came from all over York County to the drill site at York High School. Instructors and fire apparatus came from York Village, York Beach, North Berwick, Berwick, Oqunquit. Students were on the drill yard from 0900 until 1700. Thank You to all who participated to make this practical day a success!!
