On Sunday evening, the South Berwick Fire Department requested our response to Witchtrot Rd. for a 3 acre woods fire on the backside of one of the sand pits. The fire was just over the York town line. Brush 10 and Tank 4 responded, Mutual aid was also requested from the Rollinsford, NH Fire Department. A tanker shuttle was used for water supply, along with a large static water source found in one of the sand pits and small stream where portable pumps were deployed.
