Tonight was our regular Thursday night training. David Harrison from HSE/Gould delivered our new Paratech Rescue Struts, these are used primarily for stabilizing vehicles after a motor vehicle
accident. The
YVFD spent much time researching and testing different brands before settling on the Paratech brand. We would like to thank the committee who was comprised of firefighters and officers who worked dilligently to ensure the YVFD was getting the best product possible. While he was at the firehouse, Dave Harrison stayed and he gave us a brief tutorial on the new equipment.
