York Village Fire made 3 promotions tonight, all of which very well deserved. First was FF Matt Graham promoted to a newly created position called Chief Engineer which will coordinate apparatus maintenance and repair. The second was FF James Eslinger was promoted to Lieutenant in charge of Water Rescue, His duties will include coordinating the Water Rescue division of York Village Fire. Lastly FF Nick Hilton was promoted to Fire Lieutenant and recieved his white front piece, in YVFD tradition it was immediately drilled out and placed on his helmet and the old one respectfully removed, as it has seen more than a few fires. York Village Fire wishes to congratulate all the new officers in their new positions!
