With the purchase of the new tanker pumper, which is due to be delivered by late summer, we are selling Tank 4. Tank 4 is the 1991 Mack/Central States it is being sold by the town of York by sealed bid. She has served the town well since November 1991, but it is time for something more modern and efficient. Stay tuned for a progress update on the new Pierce Velocity tanker/pumper. Here is the announcement:

Vehicle purchased new in 1991 by YFD
1991 R Model Mack Chassis purchased from Manchester Mack, spec sheets included- containing a Mack 300 HP Econodyne Engine—full Mack specifications package available upon written request-to email address below.
Chassis was shipped by Mack to Lyons, So. Dakota where the pump, tank and body were installed by
Central States Fire Apparatus Co.
Pump: 300 GPM Darley Champion PTO driven fire pump
Water Tank: 2500 Gallon Steel tank & body
Tank has 6 inch side dump/fill threaded connections each side and 10 square Newton dump valve & chute on rear.
Truck has porta tank bracket & fasteners on passenger side and 2 ½ suction hose trays driver side
Truck will be released with no hose, hose fittings or equipment included
Truck will be sold to highest bidder, where is, as is.
Minimum bid requirement: $20, 000.00
Truck expected to be released July-early August 2017, date to be finalized as determined by delivery of a new tanker / pumper to the York Fire Department.
