Engine 4 was called to cover North Berwick Fire Station 1 on Monday afternoon. North Berwick Companies and much of York County were tied up at a Passenger Train vs. 18 wheeler crash with fire and an MCI. While the many agencies were tied up operating at this crash a Structure fire was reported in the neighboring town of Sanford which required a second alarm assignment. Many Fire Departments in York County were summoned to provide either station coverage or a scene response on this hot and humid day with temperatures hovering around 91 degrees. In the following photos Engine 4 sits at the ready in front of the “William Hill Fire Station” joined by Berwick Tank 4 after being released from the job in Sanford.
