York Village Fire, York Ambulance and York PD were dispatched to Ridge Rd for a report of a Motor Vehicle Accident with injury. C4, Deputy Chief Apgar, arrived on scene and assumed command. He requested all companies to continue as there was entrapment, but minor injury. Squad 2 arrived on scene and the members quickly stabilized the vehicle with the new strut system. Engine 4 also responded for equipment and manpower. The members worked together with the York Ambulance crew in extricating the driver. The door was cut off, and the patient was released from the scene with no injuries.
