Members were dispatched to the York Harbor Inn for a Fire Alarm Activation on Monday night.  Shortly after being toned, York Dispatch updated us with a report of a strange smell in the building.  The response was upgraded, bringing in York Beach Fire.  Chief Balentine signed on scene and reported smoke in the ball room.  Companies eventually discovered a burned out air conditioning unit in a crawl space above the ball room of the popular old wooden Inn.  Squad 2 positioned in the rear of the building near the ball room while Engine 4 sat on the hydrant.  Both Truck 8 and Ladder 1 made a set and laddered the roof of the building.
