Saturday August 15th, 2009. The York Village Fire Department celebrated it’s 93rd Annual Firemen’s field day with our usual parade through York Harbor and York Village followed by our traditional New England Firemen’s Muster. A good time was had by all. Attendance has been weaning at musters around New England but you would never know it by a visit to our Muster, Which is still going strong, thanks to a huge effort on the part of the York Village Firefighters who work so diligently to ensure the continued success of this dying tradition.
