A new K-12 saw was placed in service on Truck 8 today. There is still a roof saw, a K-12 saw and the chimney chain in the toolbox mounted beside the aerial ladder. This new K-12 saw will be carried in the rear compartment, officer’s side of the rig. Thus allowing us to have 1 saw up top for roof operations and the other down in a compartment for forcible entry or ground operations. This is a valuable piece of equipment to add to our arsenal of Truck company tools.
