The Members drove the 3 American La France Fire Apparatus out for a final photo shoot. The two oldest trucks will soon be taken out of service. They are being replaced by a new Pierce Velocity 75′ Quint fire apparatus purchased with Federal Grant money.
Pierce MFG brought a demonstrator unit to the York Village Fire Station for us to view. The unit is a 2007 Pierce Velocity 75′ Quint with a 500 Gallon water tank and a 1750 GPM pump.

York Village and York Beach Fire departments were dispatched to a reported structure fire in the Beach district on Broadway. First arriving Beach companies had a fire on the outside of the building on the third floor. The fire was quickly extinguished and no extension was found.
