York Village Fire Department regrets to announce the passing of Fire Captain Steve Dupras of the Goodwin’s Mills (Maine) Fire Department. Steve was a Brother firefighter and good friend to all who knew him. Steve was very active in the York County Fire Chief’s Association’s regional firefighter I & II program held annually around the new year. Captain Dupras was a well known instructor, mentor, and friend to many York Village Firefighers who have attended the regional fire academy. His impact was far reaching in the York County firefighting community. He will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace, Brother!
