Tonight we drilled on throwing ground ladders (both 24′ and 35′) while the other group worked on retrieving a downed firefighter over the aerial ladder. We worked on throwing a 24′ and then getting the roof ladder up and secured over the ridge pole so that roof operations could commence. We still have a few rough edges to grind off but we’re doing pretty well and we have a lot of summer left to get out and practice!!!
