York Village Firefighters were invited to participate in a training burn at the “Cliff House” in York Beach. A whole motel unit was slated for demolition and the fire department was contacted to arrange for it to be burned for training purposes. Approximately 12 burns were conducted throughout the day with York Beach, York Village and Ogunquit firefighters rotating through the evolutions.
