York Village Fire held a Pumps I class in house this weekend. there were 14 members who participated in the 16 hour class. Members did classroom and pumping practical excercises focus was on using pressurized sources (fire hydrants) for day 1. The members drilled on pumping hoselines with different nozzle pressures, operating off tank water and then transitioning to an external water supply, in this case a fire hydrant.
