This afternoon, FF Tourigny was afforded an opportunity to get out and take another leap forward in his quest to get “signed off” on Engine 4. His training has included laying hose, pumping handlines, and master streams, and drafting. Today he was tested off on drafting, which is the task of obtaining water from a static source, ie. a pond, or stream. This is one of the most difficult task for a new chauffeur. He executed this task without any difficulty.
