On a rainy Thursday afternoon, members went out for some pump training with Engine 4. York Village Fire’s driver training program is very comprehensive, not only is there a road mileage requirement of 100 miles, per piece of apparatus, but then there are objectives that must be met, then tested out on, including: forward lay, reverse lay, supplying attack engine/aerial device, and of course, drafting.
